Liam Gallagher: 'Noel is desperate for Oasis reunion'
Liam Gallagher has claimed that his brother Noel Gallagher is "desperate" for Oasis to reform.
The Beady Eye singer had previously claimed he would like the band to reunite in 2015 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their 1995 LP '(What's The Story) Morning Glory?', although his older sibling rejected his offer by insisting that he left the Manchester group "for a reason and that reason still stands".
Speaking to NME, however, Liam claimed that Noel was eager to reunite at some point and said that he and his brother could put their previous differences aside.
He said:
I know our kid's desperate to [get Oasis back together]. And with this thing in 2015 I think me and him can put our issues aside and do it without a doubt. But I still think there's room for Beady Eye and the High Flying Birds, whatever they're called. Without a doubt…Gallagher recently said that he would like to make an Oasis film. The singer is apparently keen to shoot a warts and all biopic starting with the band's famous bust up in Paris which led to Noel walking out on the band.
