Radiohead to release new material on December 19 - 2011
Radiohead will release two new tracks called 'The Daily Mail' and 'Staircase' on December 19.According to At Ease, the songs, which were recorded during studio sessions for the band's latest album 'The King Of Limbs', will be available on the music streaming service Deezer from next Monday, and will also be available from Amazon.co.uk on the same day.
Radiohead previously played both of the unreleased songs on their 'From The Basement' live session with long-term producer and collaborator Nigel Godrich. The performance, which saw them play 'The King Of Limbs' in its entirety, is also set to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray on December 19.
Last month, two previously unreleased Radiohead demos were posted online. The songs, which were titled 'Everybody Knows' and 'Girl (In The Purple Dress)', were recorded when the band were still known as On A Friday and before guitarist Jonny Greenwood joined the band.
Earlier this year, Radiohead singer Thom Yorke revealed that the band were set to head to their Oxford studio this month and in January 2012 in order to to work on new material.
