Adele, Foo Fighters, Bon Iver win big at Grammy Awards
Foo Fighters, Adele, Bon Iver and Kanye West were the big winners at last night's 54th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles (February 12).

Adele's 'Rolling In The Deep' was named Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year and '21' was awarded the Album of the Year prize. During her speech for the final award, she said "Mum! Girl done good" and, in-between tears, thanked Rick Rubin "who taught me about quality control". She added that "its been the most life changing year" and then, laughingly wiped her nose saying "oh my god, a bit of snot!"

She also scored awards for Best Pop Solo Performance for her track 'Someone Like You' as well as Best Pop Vocal Album for '21', and Best Short Form Music Video for 'Rolling In The Deep'. Her producer Paul Epworth was named Producer Of The Year, Non-Classical for his work with the Tottenham pop soul singer as well as with Foster The People and Cee Lo Green.

Bon Iver scored the gong for Best New Artist while his second, self titled album was named Best Alternative Music Album. After being handed the award for Best New Artist, frontman Justin Vernon admitted that he was "a little bit uncomfortable" with accepting the award, but added that he was still happy to receive it, saying "I want to say thanks to all the voters. Sweet hook up." He also thanked his label, the indie Jagjaguwar.

Foo Fighters sweeped the board in the rock categories, with their track 'Walk' grabbing the gongs for Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song. Their track 'White Limo' was named Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance and the album from which the songs were taken, 'Wasting Light', was named Best Rock Album.

Amy Winehouse, who passed away last year, received a posthumous award in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Tony Bennett, 'Body And Soul', while Skrillex received both Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronica Album for 'Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites'.

'Otis' by Jay-Z and Kanye West was named Best Rap Performance while Best Rap Album was given to Kanye West for 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy'. That album's single 'All Of The Lights' was awarded Best Rap Song and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration - Kanye West did not attend the ceremony. Chris Brown's 'F.A.M.E' was given the award for Best R&B Album
