Paramore are set to enter the studio at the end of this year to record the follow-up to 2009's 'Brand New Eyes'.

Speaking on BBC Radio 1, singer Hayley Williams said the band planned to follow the release of recent single 'Monster' with a full new album, but that the writing process was only just starting.

She said: "We're about to start writing it [the next album]. We're getting down to the core of refreshing our band. We're hoping to have the record out early next year, so hopefully we'll start to record it at the end of 2011."

Williams also spoke about the difficult six months the band have endured after founding members Josh and Zac Farro left the band in December last year after becoming disillusioned with life in Paramore.

She said: "It's been a crazy, crazy six months. I think the best thing is to see how much support we get from our fans."

The singer added that she was desperate to tour the UK again soon. Responding to a question about when Paramore would return to the UK, she said: "Not soon enough! I'm so ready. We only have 15 shows scheduled this year and that is so not cool. I'm pulling my hair out and freaking out with nothing to do at home."

'Monster' was released online last Thursday (June 2). Here's a quick vid of one of their shows I attended last year. Enjoy!
